Debating Society runs every Thursday after school in Room 15. We start at about 3.20pm and everybody is welcome – just turn up.
We hope you will come along and have a go at debating – but you are welcome to just watch the debates and ask questions if you prefer. We hope to start entering some local competitions soon and would encourage you to join Debating Society if:
- You like arguing
- You have opinions
- You enjoy researching topics for discussion
- You can think on your feet
- You are interested in the news and the world around you
